We just found out we were on one and looking at their directory we found our facility named with their phone number on it.
If you wonder sometimes why your phone is not ringing anymore than Google your own name and check who is advertising for you and themselves without you knowing it and read what make you lose clients down the line. ]]>

One option was to go through the insurance administration procedure for to get the ok for the treatment which will cost me $250 but may take up to 3 weeks to get the ok, the second option was for us to pay $500 cash and I can be treated tomorrow. The cash option does not count against the insurance deductable.

The pain has been so severe they doctors though about putting me on morphine which was not something I wanted to do.

We will be doing the cash option and we were told this will be the normal options from now on and as the government takes over the treatment authorasiaztion the time frames for approvals will be worse, but most places will have cash pay options.]]>

An alleged burglary on April 24th at Simply Self Storage was the eighth reported criminal incident in four months at the same location.

Since January 12, 2012, police have responded to six thefts and two arson incidents at the 211 Grove Street facility, according to the Bloomfield Police Department's weekly reports. The owner of the storage unit in the first alleged burglary said that his storage unit still “had the lock intact and in place" when he discovered his belongings missing.

After another burglary was reported the following day, January 13, five additional thefts have occurred at a rate of one per month, on or after the 18th of the month. None of the theft reports described evidence of forcible entry into the units.

On January 21, the Bloomfield Fire Department extinguished two fires at two separate locations on the Simply Self Storage premises. According to police, the case was considered suspicious and referred to the Esse_x County Prosecutor’s Office.

The police blotters listed eight incidents, occurring on the following dates:

January 12: A man reported that someone entered his storage unit, which still had the lock intact and in place, and stole 50 watches, 3 guitars, 1 banjo, 1 trumpet, clothing, baseball memorabilia, vintage radios and toys.

January 13, 2012: A woman reported that a Dell computer and a Panasonic 52-inch television with Panasonic surround sound were missing from her storage unit.

January 18, 2012: A man reported that someone entered his locked storage unit and stole a 42-inch Panasonic TV and HP desktop computer, and HP scanner.

January 21, 2012: A couch and mattress were set on fire in two separate locations on the premises of Simply Self Storage.

February 18, 2012: A woman reported someone broke into her storage locker and stole two 32-inch televisions, a digital camera and a pair of boots.

March 20, 2012: A man reported that five motorcycle helmets, two Pioneer CD players and one HP laptop computer were stolen from his storage unit.

April 24, 2012: A woman reported that a 24-channel mixing board and a lighting kit was missing from her storage unit.

Displayed prominently inside the Simply Self Storage office/retail space is a large security station featuring two video monitors and nine views of the interior building. The exterior premises are surrounded by a locked metal gate and an electronic keypad. A sign facing the parking lot reads, “Gate Area Video Recorded.”

The property manager at Simply Self Storage declined to be interviewed on Wednesday about the alleged burglaries, saying she was not permitted to discuss it.

SOUTH SALT LAKE -- Authorities say they found people living in at least five units of a South Salt Lake self-storage facility after conducting a raid there last month.
Police and health officials found "a makeshift bedroom with food, clothing and other living accessories" in one unit at A-1 Storage, according to a search warrant released Thursday.
Police said the March 20 raid turned up televisions, microwaves and lamps in another unit, and recliners, work stations, heaters and air conditioning units in others.
Officials said that conditions were neither sanitary nor safe. Among other things, health officials found human waste being stored in bottles.
The tenants were evicted, but authorities didn't have an exact count of how many people were living there.
A-1 Storage manager Christie Andrews said she notified police after finding a 3-year-old baby living in one unit. She explained that sometimes families can't afford traditional rent.
"They're homeless and they don't have anywhere to go," Andrews said, adding that some families had been living in the sheds for six months.
She couldn't tell they were in the units because they would secretly lock themselves in, she added.
"I would kick them out and then an hour later they were there," she said.
Advocates for Utah's homeless said they rarely encounter people living in self-storage units.
Ed Snoddy, a homeless outreach worker with Volunteers of America since 1995, said he has not personally witnessed people living in storage units. He has worked with many people who live in homeless camps and abandoned buildings.
"This is the first I've heard about it. Personally, on our outreach trips we've never seen it," he told the Deseret News.
Tony Milner is executive director of Family Promise of Salt Lake, a nonprofit agency that provides services and housing to homeless families through a network of churches. More often, people seeking assistance live in their cars, he said.
Rents for storage units are significantly lower than apartments or rooms. A 10-by-10 foot unit rents for about $80 a month.
Cory Milligan, manager of 13th South Self Storage, said finding an apartment or room "is tough once you have bad credit. The economy keeps getting worse. It's probably going to happen more."

This other person has now taken all of the items out of storage and gotten rid of them. I know this part is probably a civil matter and I understand that.

What if anything can I do at this point??]]>
